The base unit was built for fisherman that have their own rod and reel. It will catch every species of fish with more consistency than any other system on the market! It can be used with most rods from 24″ to 42″ in length. The trigger system is adjustable so you can consistently catch bluegills, or you can bend the pin to hold a 12″ sucker to catch much larger fish. The red base is very durable and easy to use open the stabilizer arm up and drop it on the ice. Put the fishing pole in the rod holder and engage the tip to the trigger its that simple.
